Plant Manager

We are seeking a Plant Manager to join our team.

Job summary:
The Plant Manager will be responsible for plant production functions including labor, efficiency, quality, inventory management, leadership, customer service, and safety. The Plant Manager reports to the Director of Business Development.

Responsibilities:
• Manage workflow to ensure product quality and timely completion to meet customer expectations.
• Recruit, train, and develop team members to achieve company and individual goals.
• Work with the maintenance team to keep equipment in a safe and productive state.
• Manage work hours and communicate staffing needs to HR to meet production demand.
• Ensure the production team works proactively with other teams to resolve issues or improve processes.
• Establish and utilize production metrics to manage the production team’s ability to meet demand, improve capacity, and balance a changing workflow.
• Works cooperatively with design, production, yard, and scheduling teams to meet customer expectations.
• Works with IT to ensure software/hardware functionality.
• Attend industry events and functions to keep up with current trends.
• Participate in the process of developing annual budgets.
• Be willing to offer ideas and innovative methods for completing projects and tasks.

Qualifications and Experience:
• 3-5 Years of Truss and/or Wall Panel management experience. (Required)
• In-depth knowledge of batching, optimizing, cutting, and assembling processes. (Required)
• Bilingual English/Spanish (Preferred)
• Applicable experience with MiTeK, Alpine, or comparable software suites. (Preferred)
• Experience with component equipment installation. (Preferred)
• Associate degree in a relevant field or comparable work experience. (Preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Physical Requirements:
• Extended periods of time working on a computer.
• Lift up to 15 pounds.
